Gorgeous Antique Effanbee Vintage Candy Kid Doll
Precious 1946 Vintage Candy Kid doll by Effanbee. This composition 13 inch Candy Kid Effanbee Boy vintage doll is absolutely adorable! You do not find too many vintage collectible boy dolls and this precious little boy is so cute he goes straight to your heart. This Candy Kid Vintage Doll is that last composition doll made by the Effanbee Doll Company in 1946. He is wearing his original boxing shorts but we found a copy of the rest of his original outfit which he is wearing, his boxing robe, shoes, socks, and a replica of his boxing gloves. His original vintage blue shorts are in good condition but will need some elastic to hold them up if you do not want to use a pin. The whole outfit is so cute and we are sure you will agree. His composition is in very good condition with some crazing on his arms, legs but nothing earth shaking and you do not even notice it unless you look closely. His torso is in great shape but there are some very faint craze lines on his face but nothing major and it is only noticeable if you look closely. This Candy Kid doll has NOT been restored! There is no cracking or lifting of the composition. He is marked EFFANBEE on his upper back. His compo color is all even and his facial makeup is just beautiful. He still retains his light rosy lips and some very nice blush to his cheeks. He has his full eyebrows, blue sleep eyes with full black lashes and very well defined painted lower lashes. His molded hair is in excellent condition with just a couple of very tiny rubs on the back of his head. He is a strung doll and his stringing is tight and solid. He has not been restored so it's absolutely marvelous that he is in such fantastic condition for a vintage boy doll that is 61 years old! He poses very well on his own but a small white doll stand is included with him. He also has his Candy Kid hang tag. He is an adorable little collectible antique boy doll and displays very nice and something special to treasure since he is the last composition vintage doll made by the popular Effanbee Doll Company.
