Molded Head 19" Tiny Tears By American Character
We have an adorable 19 inch molded head Tiny Tears vintage baby doll who is a drink, wet and cry baby made by the American Character Doll Company in 1952. She has blue eyes with all her lush lashes and her eyes open and closes easily. She still retains her full one stroke eyebrows and softly blushed rosy cheeks and lips. She has softly blushed rosy cheeks. Her rubber body is in excellent condition with barely there crazing and no cracks or breaks. The rubber as with most of these rubber babies has slightly darkened through the years but not nearly as much as the majority of them have. She has all her fingers and toes with no chew marks. Her molded hair is in pretty good shape although it does have some rubs but mostly on the back which is typical. Her one minor fault is that like most of the large Tiny Tears her eyes are not always in the right alignment but for some reason this is very common with the large Tiny Tears. Please be aware that in photos this fault is greatly exaggerated and not as bad as it appears in the photos. I may not be squeezing her hard enough but she doesn't appear to cry any longer. She will go to her new home with her original pink and white Tiny Tears dress, panties and bonnet along with her pink and white booties. Also her original romper goes with her. We have added a darling new custom made 50's style dress with white custom made knitted booties as every girl loves a new dress. The dress is a precious pink and white gingham print with a pinafore style bodice. These larger Tiny's are so wonderful to hold as they really feel like you are holding a real baby in your arms.
