SOLD! Mint Molded Head Toodles By American Character
This beautiful highly collectible baby doll came out in 1957 by the American Character Doll Company. She is known as "Toodles The Action Doll" and is described on Judith Izen's book "American Character Dolls" on page 71. She is a multi-jointed dolls which means that she is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. This makes it possible to pose her in a multitude of positions. The molded head Toodles dolls are the most sought after model of the Toodles dolls. This gorgeous baby doll is an all vinyl doll and she is in excellent condition. This gorgeous darling doll has all her original makeup with beautiful blushed rosy cheeks and lips with no missing paint on her lips, she has beautiful clear blue sleep eyes with all her dark lucious lashes, and finally her full one stroke eyebrows. Her molded hair is in excellent condition as shown in her photos. Her vinyl body is in excellent condition and her limbs are tight yet easily rotates into any position. She is very clean and all ready for display and so is her clothing. Her only fault is that like many of the older dolls she no longer cries. She is also wearing her ORIGINAL sun suit and matching bonnet and the outfit is also in excellent condition with no rips, tears or stains. As with the majority of these dolls the elastic on the legs has lost it's elasticity and the outfit now looks like one of todays' popular fashions, the pant skirt. The elastic can easily be replaced but we will leave that up to the buyer because the outfit looks adorable as it is. The bonnet has all it's tulle on the bonnet with just a couple minor areas of wear but the bonnet as a whole is in excellent condition with it's original ties. She is wearing adorable replacement baby shoes with white lace stocking. She will also come with her own rattle and will go to her new home with her pet to keep her company on her journey to her new Mommy. This is a drink and wet doll so we have included a bottle so you can feed her. We can guarantee you will just adore this darling baby Toodles doll and she will give you another 50 years of love and enjoyment.
