1950's Ideal Betsy Wetsy Vintage Doll
This RARE very collectible 16 WC-3 Molded Head Betsy Wetsy vintage doll and is 16 inches tall and absolutely superb condition. This highly desired Betsy Wetsy was made in the mid 1950s and is hard to find, especially in this condition. This highly collectible Betsy Wetsy baby doll is appropriately marked Ideal Doll/WC-3 on the back of her neck, and IDEAL 17 on her back. She was designed by the Ideal Doll Company to be a realistic baby along with her chubby cheeks and plump body she comes wearing her ORIGINAL pink rosebud and white organdy dress with purple trimming & matching bonnet, her slip for modesty and her pink and white original booties. This is a drink, wet and sleep Betsy Wetsy. She used to cry but I guess she has been so contented she no longer cries. Betsy's face is stunning with those rosy pink cheeks, bright blue eyes with full lush lashes that open and close just as they should. She has beautifully defined painted lashes and brows. Her hair paint is nearly flawless. She has a couple of very light rubs right at the top but it is barely noticeable, her body is in great condition except for one tiny spot on the inside or her left leg at the top. No chews or stains, all fingers and toes and her whole body has a beautiful pink tone just like it is suppose to have. She also comes with her own original copy of Instructions for the new Mommy. We have also included a bottle for her in case she gets hungry on her journey, vintage style baby rattle and last but not least her precious Angel Teddy Bear shown in the photos. Betsy insisted that her Teddy stays with her and there is no way we could deny her that wish. We know you will just adore this doll, especially those cute chubby cheeks. This vintage Betsy Wetsy doll by Ideal is very hard to find so hopefully if this was your childhood doll and you have been longing to hold her again then this is your baby to hold and love.
