If you held its hand it would move one foot at a time and'walk'. It also sang when you put specially made miniature records in its back. It also came with a little vinyl bag that contained all her black records in individual plastic sleeves. It wore a green/white coat dress with shiny black belt and shiny black boots. The doll she described was a baby doll. The eyes moved, and the baby had a diaper that when you placed under water, and the diaper got wet it said whether or not it was a boy or a girl. Mom thought it was an Effanbee, but searching hasn't come up with a photo of it. It came with either light blue or pink clothes, looks like little baby bib-overalls with lace around the edges and wears a bonnet with lace around edges of that too. It has little cloth booties and a bottle. It has blue eyes and molded "hair" that is flat to the head, sort of light brown. She had a red and white checkered print cloth body, but her hands and face were the usual plastic they used in the 70's. Mine had dark brownish, short hair. She looked similar to the FP Lap Sitter dolls, but she was small. She had a sweet little face and I believe she came in what I remember to be a 'shoebox' type box, which was made to put her in. I'm from the southern U.S., I don't know if she was only made around here. She was a Christmas gift in 1977 or 1978. She was received from a classmate who was wealthy and the doll was obviously well made- much nicer than my other dolls. She had a plump bottom on her. I can't recall if she was dressed, I just remember the checkered print. I keep thinking she didn't have the plastic feet, they were cloth too. It had the soft stuffed cloth body with soft vinyl/rubber arms, legs & head. She had short dirty-blonde/light brown hair, straight & short. When you put her over your shoulder she said "Mama". Originally she wore a simple white shirt/dress. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the doll or the manufacturer; I can only describe what I remember of her. She was a baby doll, 19-20" long, with curly blonde rooted hair. She had on a two piece outfit, short sleeve top and short bloomer bottoms. I think it was pink, blue and white with a floral design. I think she had a hard plastic body with soft vinyl head, arms and legs. The most distinguishing thing about her was the button located on her tummy and back. When you pressed these buttons, her arms and legs would move in a crawling motion.
